This activity is all about understanding your personality and how it impacts your ideal career discovery journey. I think you’ll find it extremely helpful, not only for your career journey, but also in understanding others around you, too. (Bonus positive relationship impact if you’re dating or married!)
Be sure to read your personal DISC test results before starting this video series. Start watching the videos with 2.0 and move all the way through to 2.5.

3. Passions – Discover What You Love and What You’re Good at Doing
Hang in there! You’re on Step 3!
In this section, you’ll be learning about my “secret recipe” for ideal career discovery success. I teach you how to use what you love to do and what you’re good at doing to combine together into one fantastic, creative soup of options for your path going forward. You’ll also be reaching into your past to find out who you are today.
Pay close attention to this one, and don’t skip this process! You may need to schedule a couple of conversations with key players in your life to help you complete this step, and that’s OK!

4. Paths – How to Adjust Your Experience to Fit Your New Career Path Options
If you’ve made it this far, you’re doing great!
Step 4 is all about helping you adjust your résumé so you can target your new career path options. One of the best things you can do after identifying your Ideal Career paths, is to take job descriptions that you find online that interest you, and begin to read them for keywords they use. You’ll want to incorporate those keywords into your resume. I show you how in this video.
This is a short video, but it’s super important, so take good notes!

Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are the portals that intake a candidate’s resume. An HR manager will run a scan on all resumes in the system to determine which ones have the highest match of keywords mentioned in their job description. It’s your goal to create the highest match rate before you apply!
By clicking the link above, you can sign up for a FREE scan and start scanning your résumé against each job description, before you apply, to get a list of keywords / skills that are missing in your résumé. Figure out which ones are true for you, and sprinkle those keywords into your résumé prior to applying in order to create a higher match rate in the employer’s ATS! Remember, an ATS loves to see how many times you said a specific skill throughout your career experience. Duplication is good!
